Longarm quilting is the process by which a longarm sewing machine is used to sew together a quilt top, quilt batting, and quilt backing into a finished quilt. Almost all designs are hand drawn or free motion. With this in mind, the end results are not computer perfect but rather a one-of-a-kind look found in antique quilts.

| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Machine basting - Large stitching across the quilt for those who want to hand quilt | $0.01 per square inch |
| Meandering - Stipple like pattern done in soft curves or loops | $0.01 per square inch |
| Basic to Custom pantograph and medium density meandering - Single pattern sewn edge to edge in blended rows over entire quilt. (Click here for patterns) Custom pantograph has a more intricate/dense pattern | $0.02 to $0.025 per square inch |
| Custom quilting - Freehand design, templates, continuous curve outlining, medium cross hatching, dense stippling, and some feather designs | $0.035 to $0.04 per square inch |
To calculate price: prices are calculated on square inch. Multiply the length of the quilt top by the width of the quilt. (Ex: 72" x 92" = 6624) Then multiply by the cost of the type of quilting. (Basic pantograph - 6624 x .02 = 132.48 or $132.48, custom quilting - 6624 x .035 = 231.84 or $231.84) This will give you an estimate on the cost of the quilting. I will calculate all expenses and let you know once I receive your quilt.
Quilting prices include thread and will be matched to your quilt top as close as possible or based on your selection. The same color thread is used in both top and bobbin. I do carry speciality threads, there will be an additional thread charge.
Extras:
Sewing seam in backing - $10.00 per seam
